From August 15th to 19th, 2023, the Bangor Aurora Leisure Complex will be buzzing with energy as Ulster performance welcome aspiring swimmers between the ages of 12 and 16, with at least 2 years of competitive swimming experience. With limited spots available, make sure to secure a place before registration closes on July 30th, 2023.


Led by Kevin Anderson, Head Coach of the National Centre Ulster, and supported by his world-class coaching team, this swim camp promises an immersive experience like no other. Throughout the week, participants will engage in a comprehensive schedule designed to optimise their training, recovery, nutrition, and overall performance.


The camp itinerary features a range of expert-led sessions to empower young swimmers both in and out of the pool. Sinead Chambers, a renowned physiotherapist from Sport Northern Ireland Sport Institute will share valuable insights on movement preparation and training availability. Lorna Cooke is a dietician and will talk about nutrition and recovery strategies crucial for maximising performance. Effective land and pool routines for training and competition will be provided under the guidance of Declan Gamble, a seasoned physiologist, and Ryan Keating ,Institute Strength and Conditioning expert.


The highlight of the camp will be the Future Focus session on Saturday, August 19th, where Kevin Anderson himself will delve into the importance of mindset and goal-setting, inspiring participants to envision their swimming futures with confidence.


At the National Centre Ulster Summer Swim Camp, the swimmer will be surrounded by accomplished coaches who have nurtured Ulster Olympians and our current aspiring athletes. This is a chance to train alongside the best, learn from their expertise, and tap into potential.
