At Lurgan Amateur Swimming Club dedicated coaches and parents aim to develop all our members’ confidence and skill in swimming. We encourage our members to participate in swimming throughout life from our beginner group through to junior squad, senior squad and into our affiliated masters club.

We promote swimming as a fun, all inclusive sport for the young, and old, able-bodied and paralympic swimmers. Whether it’s to swim competitively or just to train for water safety, fun, open water swimming, triathlons or other water based sports. We have many families which have a member in each of our sections and over the years some of our members have represented at the highest levels of the sport through competing nationally and internationally for Ulster and Ireland, competing in the Beijing Paralympic Games in 2008 and at numerous World Transplant Games.
