Access NI

Access NI

In order to observe the requirements for social distancing, Access NI (ANI) have altered the requirements for ID checks.

The procedure for Access NI applications is as follows:

During Covid restrictions, AccessNI now require checking of ID documents using video link (eg. Skype/Zoom) or scanned documents on the condition that :

  • The signatory has a copy of the ID documentation in front of them before they verify the documentation during a video link meeting.
  • The ID documentation scanned or emailed to the Signatory is of a good, clear quality"
This means that you must have a video meeting with anyone applying for AccessNI to enable you to match them to their documents.
You must then email the copy of the identity documents and the signed ID Form to [email protected] stating that you have had the video meeting and have verified the documents.

Please click here for the latest accessni application form which must be used - any earlier versions cannot be accepted as there are additional sections on the new form.

Access NI and Garda Vetting applicants should be aware that a criminal conviction does not automatically bar an applicant from obtaining a position – all decisions are based on the Swim Ireland Vetting Policy

If payment and/or ID validation form is not received within 21 days your application will be invalid.

For Swim Ulster Members who require Garda Vetting please click here for instructions and form.
