Big Bay Swim 2019

Big Bay Swim 2019

15 Sep 2019

The BIG BAY SWIM took place today in the beautiful setting of DONAGHADEE. This event proved to be so popular that we had to close the entries early as they exceeded all expectations. Thank you to everyone who entered and to those of you who missed it - we are already planning a bigger and better one next year!

HUGE THANK YOU to DONAGHADEE SAILING CLUB and their team of volunteers - without their expertise and assistance, this event would not have taken place - thanks to Vice Commodore Brian and his fabulous team who guided us through the planning and delivery of the event, looked after the safety of everyone in the water and gave us full use of their superb facilities to run the event.

Thank you to JOHN MINNIS who also supported this event and was present on the day and provided the John Minnis Hessian shopping bags which were snapped up quickly - thank you John!!

Big shout out to MICHAEL ANGUS who was the Safety Officer and has worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make this event so successful. Thanks to Linda, Gary, Alison, Mark, Jack and Rebecca who worked all day to ensure it all ran smoothly #worthyourweightingold #teamwork
